Welcome to The Elizabethan
Cask ales, cocktails, small plates and open fires. Whatever the occasion, we’ve got you covered.
Join us at the Elizabethan, Stockport and enjoy a cosy Autumn afternoon. From the moment you enter through our doors you’re welcomed with smiling faces and a truly authentic and stylish dining experience. With stunning foliage and unique and quirky décor you’ll definitely be taking pictures to remember your visit. Built in 1874, The Elizabethan started life as Bampton House, a private residence. In the early 1900s it was established as a private members club (under the same name) and it wasn’t until the Queen’s Silver Jubilee in 1977 that it became the public house we know today.
OUR MENUS
With a range of specially selected seasonal specials and a mixture of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free dishes from our new Autumn menu, you’ll be spoilt for choice. On chilly days tuck into our range of succulent steaks, all served with thick cut chips, roast vine cherry tomatoes and ale battered onion rings. On Sundays we recommend our delicious Sunday Sharing Platter; a picturesque dish that will leave you reminiscing on your trip for years. And let’s not forget we also serve the best Sunday roast in Stockport.
